Here’s What Our LEGO® Robotics Fun Adventure Looks Like!

About Our Holiday Camp

Our LEGO® Coding & Robotics Holiday Camp is a fun, educational, and engaging experience designed for primary school students. Over two exciting days, kids will design, build, and code their own creations, tackle hands-on challenges, and work together in teams. With a mix of problem-solving, creativity, and play, every child leaves with new skills, new friends, and big smiles.

Holiday Camps Overview:

  • Our friendly, qualified educators will be there to welcome your child. Look out for our camp manager in a bright yellow t-shirt!

    • Drop-Off: 9:30 – 9:45am

    • Pick-Up: 3:15 – 3:30pm

Once signed in, it’s time to say goodbye and let your child start their fun and engaging coding adventure.

  • Students kick off the camp with icebreakers and an introduction to LEGO robotics. They explore basic coding and engineering principles through hands-on, narrative-based challenges.

    Highlights:

    • Icebreakers & Games: Meet new friends and energise the day

    • Creative Building Challenges: Spark imagination and problem-solving skills

    • Hands-On Robotics Exploration: Learn to build and program robots with motors and sensors

    • Collaborative Team Activities: Work in teams to develop communication and cooperation

  • The second day builds on Day 1, with students enhancing their robots and tackling more complex challenges. They test their creations, refine their ideas, and share results with peers.

    Highlights:

    • Icebreakers & Warm-Up: Start the day energized

    • Themed Building & Coding Challenges: Solve fun, creative problems appropriate to each cohort

    • Advanced Robotics Tasks: Integrate motors, sensors, and coding logic into builds

    • Problem-Solving & Teamwork: Collaborate to overcome challenges

    • Showcase & Celebration: Present creations, celebrate achievements, and reflect on learning

    • Breaks: Morning tea, lunch, and quick movement breaks

FAQs:

  • Each day is full of fun, hands-on learning! Kids enjoy 1.5–2 hour sessions of LEGO coding and robotics, with breaks for morning snack, recess, and lunch, plus some outside play to stay energized (when weather permits).

    • Drop-Off: 9:30 – 9:45am

    • Pick-Up: 3:30pm

  • No need to bring LEGO kits or iPads — we provide everything! Just pack a nut-free snack, lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes so your child is ready to learn, play, and have fun.

  • We aim to keep our groups small with a 1:6 staff-to-student ratio and a maximum of 24 students per class, so everyone gets plenty of attention and support.

  • Absolutely not! Our instructors guide every step, so kids of all experience levels can jump right in and start coding and building.

  • To keep the day focused and safe, parents do not stay. But don’t worry , our experienced educators look after your child, and we’re happy to chat if there’s a special circumstance.

  • We aim to be inclusive and welcoming. Children who attend mainstream schools and are comfortable in a classroom can join. While we can’t provide 1:1 support, a support worker may attend with your child. Please contact us so we can discuss your child’s needs.

  • Children within 3 months of the recommended age may attend if parents feel they are ready. Our camps are structured for the recommended age range, so one-on-one support is not available, and children should have the maturity and capabilities suitable for the group.
