Class Overview:
In this exciting full-day workshop, students will dive into the world of LEGO® Spike Essential and Prime, learning coding, engineering, and problem-solving while having fun with peers.
🚧 City Shaper Holiday Camp (2-Day LEGO® Robotics Experience)
Get ready to design, build, and shape the cities of tomorrow! In this exciting 2-day holiday camp, kids aged 6–12 will explore the City Shaper challenge from the FIRST® LEGO® League using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ kits.
Through hands-on robotics, coding, and problem-solving missions, students will:
Discover how buildings, transport systems, and public spaces are designed
Build and code LEGO® robots to complete real-world engineering challenges
Collaborate in teams to brainstorm solutions that reduce or eliminate common urban issues
Present their ideas just like real engineers and urban planners!
No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a love for LEGO®!
What to bring:
Please pack a nut-free snack, lunch, and water bottle.
Workshop Highlights:
Fun coding challenges: Students will learn essential coding skills using LEGO® Spike Essential's word-block programming.
Computational thinking: They'll develop computational thinking by breaking down complex problems and creating logical solutions.
Creative problem-solving: Narrative-driven challenges will enhance student’s ability to think critically and creatively.
Engineering design: Students will apply engineering principles while building and refining interactive LEGO models.
