Class Overview:

In this exciting full-day workshop, students will dive into the world of LEGO® Spike Essential, learning coding, engineering, and problem-solving while having fun with peers.

What to bring:

Please pack a nut-free snack, lunch, and water bottle. We’ll have multiple breaks throughout the day, including opportunities to step outside and enjoy the adjacent outdoor space.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Fun coding challenges: Students will learn essential coding skills using LEGO® Spike Essential's word-block programming.

  • Computational thinking: They'll develop computational thinking by breaking down complex problems and creating logical solutions.

  • Creative problem-solving: Narrative-driven challenges will enhance student’s ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Engineering design: Students will apply engineering principles while building and refining interactive LEGO models.
