Class Overview:
Join Rocket Academy’s Mission to Mars program and explore what it takes to carry out a successful human mission to Mars! Over two action-packed days, students will use LEGO® Spike Prime to solve space challenges, build robots, and develop essential STEM skills through hands-on learning and teamwork.
What to bring:
Please pack a nut-free snack, lunch, and water bottle.
Workshop Highlights:
Exploring Mars missions: Students will learn what it takes to carry out a human mission to Mars using LEGO® Spike Prime.
Programming skills: They'll develop essential coding skills by programming robots to solve space-related challenges.
Creative problem-solving: Space-themed challenges will enhance their ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.
Team collaboration: Students will strengthen teamwork and communication as they work together to build and refine their robotic designs.
Engineering design principles: They'll apply engineering principles to construct, test, and evaluate robotics solutions tailored to space exploration.
