Here’s What Our LEGO® Robotics Fun Adventure Looks Like!

About Our Holiday Camp

Our Minecraft Build and Adventure Camp is a fun, educational, and highly engaging experience designed for primary school students. Over two exciting days, kids will design vast structures, master functional systems using Redstone, tackle grand challenges like defeating the Dragon, and strengthen teamwork skills.

Holiday Camps Overview:

  • Our friendly, qualified instructors will be there to welcome your child. Look out for our camp manager in a bright uniform!

    • Drop-Off: 9:30 am – 9:45 am

    • Pick-Up: 3:15 pm – 3:30 pm

Once signed in, it’s time to say goodbye and let your child start their fun and engaging Build and Adventure experience.

  • Students kick off the day with icebreakers and an introduction to our Minecraft Build and Adventure theme. They explore creative planning and basic engineering principles through hands-on challenges, focusing on creation and teamwork on our private server.

    Highlights:

    • Icebreakers & Games: Meet new friends and energize the day.

    • Creative Building Challenges: Spark imagination and design skills by constructing secure bases and themed structures.

    • Hands-On Redstone Exploration: Learn and apply basic Redstone concepts to build clever devices and secret systems.

    • Collaborative Adventure Planning: Work in teams to plan and execute a major expedition, culminating in an epic team challenge like defeating the Ender Dragon.

  • The second day enhances the skills learned on Day 1. Students participate in advanced engineering and grand exploration sessions, shifting the focus toward automation, community building, and next-level Redstone projects.

    Highlights:

    • Icebreakers & Warm-Up: Start the day energized for new creations and quests.

    • Advanced Redstone Tasks: Focus on automation by designing and building efficient resource farms and functional devices.

    • Collaborative Building & Design: Work together on large-scale community projects, such as themed Shops and interactive marketplace elements.

    • Problem-Solving & Exploration: Students vote on and execute a major expedition to an exciting new biome (e.g., Woodland Mansion or Deep Dark).

    • Showcase & Celebration: Apply design principles to construct fun transport systems like Minecart rollercoasters, presenting cool creations and reflecting on new skills.

    • Breaks: Morning tea, lunch, and quick movement breaks are scheduled throughout the day.

FAQs:

  • Each day is full of fun, hands-on learning! Kids enjoy 1.5–2 hour sessions of LEGO coding and robotics, with breaks for morning snack, recess, and lunch, plus some outside play to stay energized (when weather permits).

    • Drop-Off: 9:30 – 9:45am

    • Pick-Up: 3:30pm

  • No need to bring LEGO kits or iPads — we provide everything! Just pack a nut-free snack, lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes so your child is ready to learn, play, and have fun.

  • We aim to keep our groups small with a 1:6 staff-to-student ratio and a maximum of 24 students per class, so everyone gets plenty of attention and support.

  • Absolutely not! Our instructors guide every step, so kids of all experience levels can jump right in and start coding and building.

  • To keep the day focused and safe, parents do not stay. But don’t worry , our experienced educators look after your child, and we’re happy to chat if there’s a special circumstance.

  • We aim to be inclusive and welcoming. Children who attend mainstream schools and are comfortable in a classroom can join. While we can’t provide 1:1 support, a support worker may attend with your child. Please contact us so we can discuss your child’s needs.

  • Children within 3 months of the recommended age may attend if parents feel they are ready. Our camps are structured for the recommended age range, so one-on-one support is not available, and children should have the maturity and capabilities suitable for the group.
