Class Overview:

Over two action-packed days, students will use LEGO® Spike Prime to solve fun challenges, build robots, and develop essential STEM skills through hands-on learning and teamwork.

What to bring:

Please pack a nut-free snack, lunch, and water bottle.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Programming skills: They'll develop essential coding skills by programming robots to solve urban city-related challenges.

  • Creative problem-solving: Urban city-themed challenges will enhance their ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.

  • Team collaboration: Students will strengthen teamwork and communication as they work together to build and refine their robotic designs.

  • Engineering design principles: They'll apply engineering principles to construct, test, and evaluate robotics solutions tailored to urban city exploration.

  • City Shapers™ is a school holiday-exclusive theme inspired by the FIRST® LEGO® League “City Shaper™” challenge — expertly adapted by Rocket Academy into an engaging 2-day hands-on experience for primary school students.

  • For junior primary students new to coding and robotics. Hands-on play meets guided storytelling in this fun-filled intro to building, thinking, and problem-solving.
